The Nepal Association of Foreign Employment Agencies (NAFEA) serves as the central organization representing about 1041 recruiting agencies in Nepal. Dedicated to promoting safe migration, NAFEA safeguards the rights of both workers and its member organizations. By fostering unity among its members and enhancing sector professionalism through capacity-building initiatives and awareness programs, NAFEA strives to elevate the standards of the foreign employment industry. The association has instituted a Code of Conduct to ensure adherence to transparent guidelines, thereby combating irregularities and fostering fair competition within the sector. As a pivotal stakeholder, NAFEA actively engages in lobbying efforts and advocates for policy reforms such as labor agreements and Memoranda of Understanding to protect the welfare of Nepali migrant workers and as well as recruitment agenc's.

Nepali is the common language and widely spoken in Nepal. However, different ethnic groups boast their own dialect like Magar, Tamang, Tharu, Gurung, Newari, Maithali, Bhojpuri, Rai, Limbu and Sherpa etc. English is less spoken across the country but it’s increasingly becoming popular among urban youths. The country is home to more than 59 distinct indigenous communities. Hinduism and Buddhism are two major religions in Nepal and with existing religious tolerance different groups worship each other’s deities, observe festivals, traditional costumes and rites of both religious group in Nepal. Other religions practiced in Nepal include Islam, Jain and Christianity.
